Brasilia has a dry tropical climate, with an average of 20 degrees Celsius. The rainy season begins in the month of October and lasts until April. The city is 1000 meters above the sea level, in the so called Central Plateau and has a very flat geography. During the day the average temperature is 22 degrees centigrade, while at night the annual average is 17 degrees. In general terms the climate is quite stable, with possibility of intense rain in the afternoon. Usually in the hotel rooms, offices and other spaces have air conditioners that guarantee a milder temperature.
Security in Brasília:
Vitória is considered a safe city, but we advise additional precaution at all time. We recommend that all participants take precautionary measures when leaving the hotel. Avoid walking alone at night and especially in areas that are poorly lit. If you decide to leave the hotel premises, please be sure to take a clearly numbered and marked taxi; preferably use the taxi services at the hotel. We advise you not to carry large amount of cash or other valuables with you, especially when you are outside of the hotel.
